BurrellesLuce Executive Will Lead Workshop at Digital PR Next Practices Summit in New York

LIVINGSTON, NJ (October 2, 2008) — BurrellesLuce Executive Vice President Steve Shannon will moderate a workshop titled "Improving Your Search Engine Marketing & PR," during the PR News Digital PR Next Practices Summit. The one-day conference will take place October 3 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

The search engine marketing panel led by Shannon is one of seven sessions exploring the smartest ways to deploy effective digital PR. Shannon and a panel of senior PR executives will guide attendees through best practices for social media press releases, explain effective SEO and SEM strategies, and provide linking tips for blogs and social networking pages.

Shannon has a sixteen-year career in the public relations industry. He currently serves as executive vice president at BurrellesLuce, where he oversees sales, client services, marketing, and product development. A frequent speaker at industry events, he participates in public relations and media organizations, including PRSA and the Paley Center for Media.
